Conventional alkaline soap is not a suitable default application for preserving active Ascorbic Acid. Its stability is poor under alkaline conditions, so adding it at trace does not establish an effective vitamin C soap.

- Dissolve appropriately: Incorporate into a suitable portion of the water phase, following the validated production method.
- Control processing conditions: Minimise unnecessary exposure to air, heat and light.
- Measure the final pH: Ascorbic Acid lowers pH; adding it does not automatically improve formulation stability.
- Validate the finished product: Assess stability, packaging compatibility and preservation where applicable.
Do not add unmeasured powder directly to a ready-made serum or moisturiser. Doing so can change its pH, compatibility and stability.
